Our Founders

Michelle & James are parents of three wonderful children, two spirited pups, and passionate advocates for natural wellness for their whole family. Tea is a daily ritual for both of them, but after years of exploring the market, they saw a need for premium, functional, and genuinely delicious teas that honor both flavor and focus.

Everything at The RX Tea Shop is created or fully vetted by Michelle and James.

• Michelle (Herbalist & Chef): Trained professionally in culinary arts and inspired by the home remedies of her Dominican grandmother, Michelle crafts blends rooted in reputable research and tested for both enjoyment and wellness benefits. If it doesn’t taste exquisite and feel effective, it doesn’t make it into the shop.

• James (Brewmaster & Hospitality Expert): A lifelong Dallasite with a distinguished career in luxury hospitality, James crafts small-batch kombucha that is naturally smooth, low sugar, low calorie, and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavor—never using vinegar, artificial ingredients, or preservatives. He also ensures that every detail of The RX Tea Shop experience is elevated, refined, and thoughtfully designed for your enjoyment.
