- How are your signature tea blends created?
We begin with a vision for the experience we want each tea to provide, then draw on traditions from Indigenous American ethnobotany, Chinese herbalism, Ayurveda, and European folk medicine — knowledge gathered through years of hands-on study and a lifetime of exposure to different cultures' approaches to tea and herbs. After sourcing the highest quality herbs, teas, and botanicals, we test combinations ourselves, refining each blend with culinary herbs, florals, and tea leaves to create a balanced, flavorful, and beautifully aromatic cup.
- How are your teas flavored so deliciously?
Naturally! Every ingredient in our blends contributes to the flavor you taste. We never use artificial or added flavorings, scented oils, or sweeteners. Each cup showcases premium, carefully sourced teas, herbs, and florals from around the world — Herbalist Inspired, Chef Curated — to create rich, nuanced, and delicious flavor profiles.
- Where do you get your herbs and teas from?
Whenever possible, we source directly from farmers. For everything else, we work with trusted importers specializing in Fair Trade practices, ensuring ethical sourcing and the highest quality, organically grown ingredients.
- Do you offer custom or personalized blends?
Yes! We create bespoke, hand-blended teas for individual customers as well as hospitality businesses — hotels, restaurants, spas, and more — looking for a signature blend of their own. Every custom blend is designed and crafted in-house, from concept to packaging. Reach out through our Contact page to start the conversation.
- Do you have traditional teas?
Yes! Our "Legacy Teas" are cleaner versions of classic teas, like Earl Grey, crafted entirely from real ingredients — no artificial flavors, only fine black teas and actual bergamot peel. We also offer a curated selection of single leaf teas, apothecary herbs, and ceremonial grade matcha.
- Do you offer tea bags?
Yes — select blends are now available in sachets made from corn-based PLA, a plant-derived material that's compostable and free from plastic or synthetic fibers. Same quality ingredients and flavor as our loose leaf teas, just ready to steep straight from the bag.
- Why is there a difference in price per serving between sizes?
Our pricing is fair and transparent. Larger quantities provide better value because packaging and shipping costs are a smaller percentage of the total. Once you find a blend you love, we recommend purchasing larger sizes or subscribing for ongoing savings.
- Is your shipping really free?
Yes — every order ships free, no minimum purchase required. It's one of the ways we make trying a new blend (or stocking up on a favorite) as easy as possible. You do have the choice to speed up full mint and shipping time by selecting a premium shipping upgrade.
- What if I'm not happy with my purchase?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If a tea isn't the right fit, we'll gladly help you find a better match or replace it. If you prefer, we can issue a full refund.
